    Cellar 9+ Castell D'Aigua 2018

    Moisès Virgili I Rovira is the winemaker and founder of Cellar 9+, after a career in agriculture and working with other vineyards he decided to start Cellar 9+. The organic vineyard is set not far from the Mediterranean Sea. Moisès is serious about the sustainability of the vineyard and care of the land - and this passion at Cellar 9+ is apparent because this wine is delicious; the aroma from Cartoixà is a mixture of peaches, apricot and almonds, on the palate it tastes of caramel and has fresh tannins. Pour yourself a glass and transport yourself to the sunny Spanish coast.

    • Grapes: 100% Cartoixà
    • Try with: Fish dishes, white meat, med veg dishes and Turkish mezze
    Hopp Salvatge 2019

    Produced in the mountainous Penedes region in Spain at Finca Parera. Finca Parera is Biodynamic and Organically certified and is committed to a natural way of winemaking. Bottling without any intervention nor addition, in bottles that hold pressure to keep wild fermentation going inside them - this is what gives it that wonderful pet nat spritz. This wine is almost cider-like with hints of baked apple and toast. 

    • Produced in: Alt Penedès Monserratí. Spain
    • Key features: Certified Organic and Biodynamic. No added s02
    • Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
    • Try with: Great aperitif, perfect for picnics to pair with charcuterie or cheese
    Rio D Sgoccioli Cinque campi

    Produced by Vanni Nizzoli who took over his family farm and quickly went about converting it to organic - they had always farmed organically but saved any wine just for family and friends. Now they produced many wonderful natural wines, including this Lambrusco - Lambrusco is a wonderful summer fizz and great to try instead of prosecco. This wine is left to macerate on the skins for 3 days, giving it its wonderful vibrant red colour. This is wonderfully fizzy and fun. 

    • Produced in: Emilia, Italy. 
    • Key features: Organic. Natural. Ecocert 
    • Grapes: Lambrusco Barghi
    • Try with: Pizza, charcuterie board, hard cheeses, catch-ups in the park.
